Journal Description
International Journal of Didactical Studies (IJODS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal devoted to the advancement of research on didactics and teaching–learning processes across diverse educational contexts.
The journal provides a scholarly platform for studies that explore how teaching and learning are conceptualized, designed, implemented, and evaluated in formal and informal education settings. By emphasizing pedagogical approaches, instructional practices, and learning environments, IJODS aims to bridge theoretical perspectives with empirical evidence and educational practice.
IJODS publishes original contributions that demonstrate methodological rigor, theoretical relevance, and educational significance, with particular attention to research that enhances understanding of classroom processes, teacher education, curriculum design, assessment practices, and technology-enhanced learning. The journal encourages interdisciplinary perspectives where they contribute directly to the study of teaching and learning.
All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and ethical integrity. IJODS is committed to promoting international scholarly dialogue by welcoming contributions from researchers and practitioners across different regions and educational systems.
The journal is published regularly three times a year (January, May, and September, as of 2026) and provides immediate open access to its content, supporting the broad dissemination of educational research and fostering evidence-based discussions in the field of didactical studies.
