Article Processing Charges
The International Journal of Didactical Studies (IJODS) is a fully Gold Open Access journal. All articles published in the journal are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without any subscription fees or access restrictions for readers or institutions. This open-access publishing model is designed to support the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge and to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and impact of academic research.
To support the administrative and technical operation of the editorial workflow, peer-review infrastructure, website maintenance, digital preservation, and long-term accessibility of published content, IJODS applies a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100.
The APC is requested only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication. At no stage does the payment of the APC influence the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, or publication decisions.
Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of submitted manuscripts and are made independently of any financial considerations, including the payment or non-payment of publication fees.
IJODS is committed to promoting equitable and inclusive access to scholarly publishing. Authors who face financial constraints or who are affiliated with institutions in low- or lower-middle-income countries may apply for a full or partial APC waiver. Waiver requests may be submitted only after a manuscript has received a final acceptance decision and are evaluated through an administrative process that is fully independent of editorial and peer-review decisions. The approval or rejection of a waiver request has no influence on the editorial evaluation or publication outcome.
All information regarding copyright ownership, licensing terms, and authors’ rights is provided in the Author Guidelines. Policies related to waivers or special considerations, if applicable, are clearly communicated by the editorial office.
